It’s time to say good-bye to all the drama! What does it mean? Sometimes, you will have to change what you’re doing, who you’re “being” and also change who you’re hanging around. Despite the abundance of resources, technology, entertainment, and opportunities that surround us, more and more people simply aren't satisfied with the life they're living. When striving to create a greater sense of happiness in your life, the power of living a balanced life should never be overlooked. First things first, focus on minimizing chaotic situations and increasing activities that best support you. Nowadays we are busier than ever, so creating a balanced life may seem difficult to do. However, understand that a balanced life is not about perfection but rather flexibility.Look around…Who do you see? Too much chaos can make it difficult to make meaningful connections with those we care about or even those we’d love to connect with. On the other hand, if you find yourself surrounded by negative people who live life with a “Glass Half Empty” mentality, chances are they’re contributing to the chaos in your life. Some people love to invite you over for a “Pity party”. You can always decline! It can be exciting to live in a whirlwind at times but unless you’re a washing machine I don’t think it’s part of your life’s purpose. It might be time to disengage from that spinning wheel and re-engage with what’s really important and what truly matters, while also allowing yourself time for beauty rest, an inner beauty regimen so you can keep your mindset chaos free, and time to nourish your body. Most of the time when we feel overwhelmed or tired our stress levels increase. Fear sets in and we can feel dissatisfied in all areas of our lives. Stress is a form of a free radical which accelerates the aging process. You’ve heard the saying “there’s no greater wealth than the health of your body”. Taking time out to exercise, eat a healthy diet filled with antioxidants, drinking enough water and beauty rest is crucial to living a balanced life. Sadly, this is one of the first things we tend to neglect when we become busy and stressed – but it’s the one thing we need more than anything else when chaos lurks around the corner! Your car needs fuel to perform at an optimal level, so does your body.Know when to say no and don’t push the limit. I’ve been guilty of this one. Avoid working too many hours, spending countless hours in front of the TV or surfing the internet. Too much of anything can lead to chaos because it can rob you of the time you need to get the important things done. Since we create our own reality, we are solely responsible for what’s going on around us and inside of us. You’ve probably heard the phrase “you attract that which you are”. A chaotic life, not cute! Close the door on chaos inside and outside. Get your thoughts organized so you can have the clarity to push through no matter what’s going on outside of you!Simple yet chic is the way I think life should be, remember balance can make a profound difference in helping you live chaos free!
