There are quite a few benefits of cloud PBX in terms on features, there is no doubt that the system is capable of delivering outstanding features that traditional telephone systems can’t or if possible will cost a fortune just to deploy. In terms of cost effectiveness, everybody knows that any VoIP solution is cheaper and the main reason why the technology continues to dominate the telecommunication industry. But apart from the more obvious benefits of a cloud PBX system there are also more subtle advantages yet are still part of the integral whole of the system. The fact that the phone system will be shifted in the cloud brings quite a few benefits already that can make the difference between a closed deal and a loss of sale. Benefits of the Cloud Generally a cloud PBX system works just like a traditional telephone system, it establishes both internal and external communication but the only difference is that there are no hard lines connecting the phone from the provider to the end user. Basically the phone system will work like a website, it is in the cloud, and it is online so regardless of whether your business experiences problems in the internet or power outages the phones will still continue to work receiving calls, greeting customers and possible sending the calls to your voice mail, just like a website continues to work even if your office is close or experiencing problems. A misconception has sprouted that VoIP solutions like cloud PBX are vulnerable to power outages and internet disconnection but it just isn’t. The system is not locally bound even if the entire region is in a complete blackout the phones will still continue to work.rnApart from the cloud benefits the providers can also set up a failover mechanism for you. Meaning if anything happens that calls do not transpire on your end perhaps, internet difficulties or power failures then calls can be diverted to your mobile phones giving you enough space to still close a deal despite difficulties. Also since you are using a cloud PBX system it is likely that you have offshore staff from different location or maybe another office so calls can be received through those extensions at absolutely no extra charge. As for security, the cloud is a vast highway of data, finding the server of your VoIP provider alone is more difficult than establishing a connection on some chirped copper wires of traditional telephones, then there is encryption and deciphering of digital data, so basically it is more secure than traditional phone systems.
