From the many advance features of cloud PBX systems there are quite a few powerful features that separate the technology from the rest. Although traditional telephone system may do the same however it is not as sophisticated and not as economical compared to VoIP phone solutions. The hosted nature of the system enables it to perform features that seemed impossible in conventional telephone system while still keeping the cost at a reasonable rate making it possible for small and starting business to thrive despite directly competing with larger and well established companies in their respective industry. Group Hunt – This feature enables callers to be placed on queue then be transferred to the next available extension or telephone. For an instance a caller comes through and all your sales customer service representative is currently engage a pre programmed voice prompt will notify the caller about the queue and can either play music, trivia or the latest about your products and services depending on your preferences then immediately transfer the call to the next available representative. Since it is under a cloud PBX technology call queues can be transferred to any extension, meaning calls can be answered by your remote staff in another country or in another location without any additional cost to your company or the caller. Ring Group – This feature allows you to sequentially order the ring pattern of your cloud PBX systems which is advantageous for decentralized sales process or basically any other sales flow. By programming the system it can strategically ring phones based on your preferences, for an instance a call comes through and you want to calls to be received by your best agent first then the next best agent and so on, then calls will be sent to their corresponding extensions. The ring group also enables cloud PBX users to capitalize on its cloud nature, in any event that a local problem surfaces like power outages or internet disconnection using the feature the system will automatically transfer the call to the next extension within the ringing pattern. Both group hunt and ring group are often a standard feature in a cloud PBX system meaning there are no additional cost to take advantage of these remarkable features that will likely to cost a fortune if coupled with any traditional telephone system. The combination of the cloud nature and sophisticated call handling features of the technology made it a very powerful system that is destined to overtake any other solutions in the telecommunication industry.
