Stop waiting for everything to be ready, perfect, or right to launch your business.
My dad's a farmer and he always says, "You want to know the best way to find out that corn will grow? Plant it." You can prepare and research yourself into a corner, but at some point the seed has to hit the earth.
Stop waiting for the website to be perfect or the elevator speech to be in place. Quite frankly, stop waiting until you finished your coach training. Stop waiting for all of that, because you really do already know enough to start building your business.
Here's a story from my own journey. From the moment I started my coach training I started my marketing training and I started marketing my business. It's one of the single most important factors to the success I have.
I didn't hold back. I jumped in and I made terrible mistakes. I launched my business anyway and it gave me momentum and it gave me some immediate results. I can tell you that an entrepreneur making money is more effective, productive and motivated than one planning to make money. That was huge for me. Just do it anyway.
My marketing mentor and coach right now says, "If anything is worth doing it's worth doing poorly to start with." I love that and it really is the key.
The same thing goes for those of you that are telling yourself, "You know, I don't really know if the time is right in my life to start a coach training program. I've thought about it, but there are the kids and the money."
There will never be a right time. I can promise you right now that there will never be a right time. There's only right now. I highly suggest that you do it anyway and go forward. Jump in, because you really don't know what will grow until you plant the seed.
For me, one of the biggest gifts I can give you in terms of marketing your business is: start immediately and plant it anyway.
It's okay to do things poorly in the beginning. It's okay to do things poorly in the end. We're always growing, developing and trying new things.
There's this wonderful quote I read a few weeks ago that said: "The cave that is the scariest to go into and the hardest to enter is where your treasure lies."
This is a moment for you. Whether you're already in a coach training program and you're looking at launching your business this is a moment, an "Ah ha, write this down, I'm going to do it anyway, I'm going to launch."
