Such individuals may include AIDS patients, people with bronchitis and other respiratory illnesses, infants with undeveloped immune system or elderly with weak immune system. If you have such an individual residing in your home, monitor their health and try to take precautionary measures to prevent mold growth. Apart from these, there are a number of uncommon but more severe risks that black mold may cause. In the worst scenarios, it is known to have caused irreparable damage or failure of human organs. If it enters the body, it starts to form colonies on organs and eventually consumes it. This in turn produces mycotoxins, which are airborne poisonous toxins. Mycotoxins can easily enter a host through skin contact, wounds or inhalation. Not only can it damage every organ in the body, it can also cause vascular damage. Deterioration of veins and arteries will then result in internal bleeding, which can be fatal. If you experience any of the above symptoms, consult a doctor immediately and get your house checked. If you find yourself capable, you can even follow the many online guides on how to remove black mold.
