Echinacea purpurea liquid extract: • Sneezing, attacts of hayfever: a few drops (10-15) under the tongue every 10 min if necessary. • Sore throats: 10-15 drops swallowed slowly. Influenza and colds: at the first sign of an infection or when someone around you is infected with the cold or flu virus, take 15-20 drops every hour until the symptoms are gone for couple of days. After, take one to two teaspoons as a maintenance for weeks. Echinacea is safe to take in a long term to boost immune system and is also an antiaging herb. You can also use Echinacea liquid extract topically for infected skin conditions as a compress. It is important to mention that Echinacea must be extracted using an alcohol percentage sufficiently high to efficiently extract alkylamides. The root of Echinacea is highest in alkylamides. Echinacea root boosts the white blood cells count. Bilberry liquid extract: • Eyestrain: 2 mls of Bilberry at three hourly intervals. Bilberry will relieve eyestrain within 20 min. • Night driving: if you need to drive at nigh take Bilberry extract. Billbery has the unique ability to improve night vision. It works straight away within 20 min. Take 2 mls 30 min before leaving and repeat every 3 hours. St Mary's Thistle liquid extract: • Detoxifies liver and blood • Helps to repair liver • Has hepatoprotective properties • Good for hangover or take before going out to lower symptoms of hangover. • Suitable for food allergies and sensitivities. • Exposure to chemicals and pollutants. Meadowsweet is the natural antacid Please avoid chemical alkaline antacids containng aluminium that you can buy at your local pharmacy. Anything that alters the acidity of the stomach will in the end create more stomach acidity on rebound. Hydrochloric Acid should be present in stomach especially before you have a meal. However, when you take an alkaline substance that alters that state of acidity, this alkalinity is picked up in the brain via the blood. The brain then sends signals to the stomach to produce more acid. Meadowsweet does not alter the natural stomach acidity because it normalises it. Meadowsweet also forms a protective mucus coating over the stomach lining, so that any increase in acid can not do any ham. This increase in protective coating also allows any ulcers already formed to heal. Uses: • Indigestion: in acute situations take 4 mls in a glass of water. • To prevent indigestion take 1 to 2 mls before every meal. • Stomach ulcers: pain-relief for stomach ulcers. Take 4 mls in a glass of water before meal. As a pain preventative take 2 mls before and after meals. Meadowsweet is used by herbalists in arthritis and rheumatism formulas for its pain relieving properties. Feverfew - the natual aspiri Uses: • Headache and migrane In acute situations: take 4 mls in a glass of water as needed.
