People begin to notice that the lines, wrinkles, and scars on their faces often become more pronounced as they age. As this happens most people turn to the advances of technology in a search for remedies to alleviate these issues. Microdermabrasion treatments have been available in clinical settings for some time now, however, there are more and more at home microdermatrasion treatments available which can accomplish much of the same results as the more expensive clinical ones. There are two basic differences between having microdermabrasion treatments conducted in a clinical setting and performing at home microdermabrasion. One of these is that the products used in the clnical setting are often stronger and require a licensed individual to use them. The other difference is that there may be specialized microdermabrasion equipment used in the clinical setting that is not available for home use. Many people who seek microdermabrasion treatments have scarring from acne, lines, or wrinkles that they want to reduce or alleviate from their face. Microdermabrasion is one way to reduce scarring and other issues in a relatively short time with minimal pain and effort. When done in a clinical setting some microdermabrasion treatments include processes that may require a recovery period but for at home microdermabrasion kits there is normally no distinguishable changes to the face or pain that would require treatment. An individual embarking on a microdermabrasion treatment in a clinical setting will usually be required to make regular monthly trips to the clinic for treatment after the initial visit. Each treatment will further reduce the signs of scarring and lines that one wishes to reduce. In most cases a microdermabrasion at home kit is configured on a bi-weekly regimen where the individual performs the treatment on themselves over a period of about ten to twenty minutes in the evening followed by moisturizers or other treatments that will fight the effects of drying that result from the microdermabrasion formula. People who have skin that reacts negatively to harsh chemicals or dries easily may have problems with any microdermabrasion treatment. But there is an alternative for individuals who have sensitive skin and still want to reduce lines or scars that can be created from natural products that are available from organic markets. The main substance of the microdermabrasion treatment is the crystals which are a combination of chemicals such as alumin oxide, pumice, etc., that act to exfoliate and remove dead cells from the face. The ingredients are very powerful whether used alone or in combination. For this reason when using a microdermabrasion kit at home it is important to test a small area of the face for a few treatments before using the product on the whole face. One alternative to using any chemicals on one's face is to create their own microdermabration at hom kit. By creating one's own formula an individual knows what chemicals are being introduced onto their face and can change the measurements for certain ingredients to fit their specific needs. The basis of a microdermabrasion kit at home will include find white sand that can be purchased from the organic market. This sand and some Jojoba oil which will dissolve the oil and remove plugs from the pores will act as the exfoliate and remove dead skin without the introduction of harsh chemicals to the cells of the skin. One can include nutrients into their formula that the face needs as well as ingredients such as Aloe Vera gel which enhances and encourages quick healing. Microdermabrasion at home formulas are not as strong as those used by many clinics however it is important to remember that daily use can be very damaging to the skin. When one wishes more immediate results it is sometimes necessary to seek the assistance of a dermatologist who can help in selecting the best treatment for the person wishing to remove scars, lines, or wrinkles.
