Control panels play an important role in various manufacturing and production environments at present times. They are generally found in different computerized, automation and process control systems.
A control panel is a flat space where the regulator or monitoring instruments are displayed. They are used for regulating, controlling, starting, stopping, and or protecting electric motors. They are used to monitor all the regulating and controlling works in the different factories. Control panels help the contemporary manufacturers to bring in more productivity and ease of work. They play significant roles in present day manufacturing environments. The basic functionality of the panels is in relation to mechanization and process control system.
Manufacturing Control Panel is described as an assembly of a methodical, logical and standard arrangements of two or more elements like overload relays, circuit breakers, motor controllers, fused disconnect switches, control relays, selector switches, timers, control devices with push button stations, switches with associated wiring, control relays, selector switches, timer terminal blocks and other similar components.
Nuclear power plants, aircrafts, mainframe computers and ships also consist control panels. Some of the industrial control panels are like motor branch circuit protection devices and temperature control devices. Industrial control systems enable the storing and processing of information at times. Varied types of industrial control devices are seen operating and helping small and big industries and manufacturing units, some of them are as follows:-

Most of the old control panels were usually armed with push buttons and analogue tools, whereas in present times they are equipped with latest technologies like touch screens. These devices are chiefly used for mechanization and process control systems, but they are essential to handle several additional challenges. The tasks include growths in control system technology and the unceasing evolution of the design and building process and industry.
rnChecking whether the control panels are documented with safety standards and safety codes or not are highly important. Generally, all the big companies who manufacture panels, be it custom built or standardized designs are estimated to provide evidence of safekeeping assurance and quality.
