Offile storage files i.e. OST files are considered as the image of Server-based folders of Exchange Mailbox. But if your mailbox gets deleted from the server all your mailbox data is lost. In such a case you still have the OST file that contains your mailbox data. But the issue arises here is that how to access this OST file? You may definately access your OST file contents in offline mode by converting the .ost file into .pst file in case your exchange server profile is not modified. You just have to convert the OST file into its equivalent PST file by using third party convert ost to pst tool. OST file is organized with a nonindulgent security, owing to which, Windows NT authentication cannot be used to work offline. Therefore, to access the OST file contents you should have the proper authentication to log onto the Exchange mailbox. To ensure this, Exchange Server creates an encrypted cookie using your mailboxes unique entry ID while you successfully log on to the Exchange Server system. The cookie so created is stored in your Exchange Server profile and your profile saves this key for OST. Referring to this fact, OST checks this key every time you try to access the OST file. But you may left with inaccessible OST file when your profile altered, modified or try to connect with new mailbox in which case MS Exchange replaces the key with a new value from the mailbox that was created. Hence the key is being changed, the OST file that is cerated with the previous mailbox becomes inaccessible. You lost some very important data just because of modification of your mailbox. But fact is that you just lost the access of the OST file not the data in the OST file. In such case all you can do is find a reliable third party ost to pst conversion software and get your .ost file converted into Outlook accessible .pst file. Convert ost to pst tool is developed to convert the inaccessible or corrupt OST files into PST file to make them accessible with MS Outlook. It is capable of recovering emails, notes, jou als, calender entries attachments etc. In addition the software can convert the password protected or encrypted OST to PST file. It facilitates you to convert the selected or full content of the OST file as per requirement. Convert OST to PST tool is very easy to use with Outlook resembling GUI and supports all the latest versions of Windows and Outlook. Free version of the tool is available to evaluate it's efficiency. Free evaluation version previews all the OST file contents that can be recovered by the full version of the software.
