Basements are often left unused when they are present in homes. Some people are put off by the potential expense of renovating them. But if you are considering renovating your basement you have the potential to add a really useful and versatile room to your home.

rnYou must be prepared to get it ready for its new use though. Basements can suffer from damp if they are not properly treated. You may find your basement needs to go through a sandblasting process first, in order to get it ready for tanking preparation. Tanking is basically the process of waterproofing the area so that no damp occurs.

rnThe sandblasting process is a rather messy one, but you will need to get professionals in to do it for you. They will get the work done to the highest standard and will clean up after themselves too. Once you see your basement again you will see that it is fully ready for Tanking Preparation and application.

Once all this has been done, the room will be ready to be transformed to accommodate whatever you want to do with it. Think carefully before doing any decorating. You may be able to use the room for multiple purposes depending on its size. Sketch it out to scale and then think about how you could best use it. Some people would opt to create a playroom for their kids. Others would use it as a dining room. Still more would probably like to convert it into a cinema room, to provide them with real luxury at home!

rnWhatever you decide to do you can get started on the design by choosing the wall coverings and flooring. Think about whether to include wallpaper or whether you want to paint the walls instead. Think about colours too, because your basement may suffer from a lack of natural light. Keeping the colour scheme light will help enormously. Once you add some lighting to brighten things up a bit it will look better still.

rnThink about what type of floor covering you want as well. You could opt for carpet or tiles or something completely different. Again the use of the room could help you make your decision here. If you convert it into a home office space you might want flooring that will be harder wearing than a plain carpet.

rnAs you can see there is a lot to think about when you are going to convert a basement into a usable room. But the main thing to remember is that you should always make sure you prepare the room properly first, so that you don’t get any problems once you are ready to decorate. You can then use the room and enjoy it for many years to come.

Yet behind every call that connects and every message that reaches its destination, there is another system quietly working in the background. That system is the call center. While customers often interact with telecom companies only when something goes wrong, these centers operate constantly, guiding problems toward solutions an

Introduction The solar industry once believed that collecting as many leads as possible was the fastest path to growth. Marketing teams focused on filling databases with names, phone numbers, and email addresses. At first, the numbers looked promising.
