Who does not love a giveaway? Corporate giveaways are a great way to promote good will and a positive reputation as well as increase your customer base. With the increase in recent years in companies using social media, the idea of corporate giveaways has only grown, and they are increasing by leaps and bounds. There are several forms that these take and they are great fun for those involved, especially if they are simply corporate giveaways rather contests. Everyone loves getting something for free, especially when it is a product they love. Corporate giveaways are a great way to get others to try your product and to increase your presence in the social media.
There are a few basic social media platforms that can launch corporate giveaways, and they usually follow the same pattern. Typically customers and potential customers are asked to show their love by liking or following the company's page on whatever social media network is being used. They may be asked to do something in order to receive the product or some corporate giveaways simply include everyone one their page. The prizes range from full size products to coupons for products, and often include promotional items as well.
During corporate giveaways, many businesses see a huge influx of fans joining up. This is an especially great way for new, smaller businesses to make their presence known. News of corporate giveaways spreads like wildfire, and as more and more hear the news and join up, the news is shared and more come. Sometimes the corporate giveaways are done in conjunction with a contest of some sort. It may be that the person who gets the most people to join up wins a free product, or there may be a random drawing of all of those who are involved with the business on the network. However they are done, corporate giveaways are great ways to get positive publicity.
The key to making corporate giveaways successful is getting the word out. Give people some time and make sure as many people get a chance as possible. Offering consolation prizes in corporate giveaways that involve a random drawing or contest of some sort is a good idea so that people do not get discouraged. Either way, there really is no better means of building your social network presence than corporate giveaways. In the end it really does not matter what you giveaway, as we all like to get a treat.
