Countdown to Peace

The angel of peace and calmness is Angel Uriel. She helps you to remain calm and relaxed when you become anxious or frustrated. She also helps you to live in peace and harmony so that you will feel happy.

Let's do a happiness exercise. What's that, you ask? In just a minute, I want you to close your eyes and take a big, deep breath. Imagine a time when you were most happy. Maybe you were running through a field of flowers. Perhaps you were just sitting on the beach with your toes in the sand. Or, maybe it was a time when you had all your family around you and you were laughing about good times. Do you have that picture in your mind? I want you to think about how that time made you feel. What were you thinking? What made you feel the best about that time? Reflect on that for just a couple of minutes. Take some deep breaths again. Now, I want you to very slowly count backwards from 10 to one: 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Open your eyes. How do you feel right now? Are you smiling inside? Do you feel warm and loved? Do you feel at peace at this moment?

Angel Uriel reminds you to always reflect on the pleasant moments in your life. When you feel sad, nervous or upset, you only need to think about a special time you had or shared in your life. It is amazing how a simple event or person can have such a positive impact on you both now and in the future. It is in these extraordinary moments when you feel the strongest, the happiest, and the most blessed. It is also in these moments when Uriel is standing alongside you offering her love and shoulder for support. The same holds true if you have feelings of worry or angst. All you have to do is calm your spirit by asking Uriel to help you look beyond the immediate situation. She will help you to relax your mind and still your fears. Of course you can use the same happiness exercise to think about something funny that may have made you laugh aloud. And if all else fails, remember that when you cry, you cry alone - but when you smile, the whole world smiles with you. It's amazing how a smile can magically transform whatever hard feeling you may be experiencing. I'd say that Angel Uriel agrees!
