Peugeot’s award-winning RCZ sports coupé has past its predicted used prices to achieve an average of 92% of MRRP. Fifteen used Peugeot RCZs with mileages around 8,000 miles were placed at a closed auction at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, with over 70 dealers of used cars in Worcester and across England taking part. The prices reached at the auction over achieved an already strong set of valuations by CAP with an aggregate 103% of CAP Clean, underlining the strong pull of the Peugeot RCZs combination of driveability, quality and style. Autumn is a challenging time for used car auctions, but that didn’t stop all the RCZs being sold with the presence of 170 other sought-after vehicles, showing huge confidence in both the car and the Peugeot Marque. The star car at the auction was a GT THP 200 in Mercury Grey with 6,000 miles on the clock, which made an impressive £23,500; 111% of CAP, 97% of MRRP.rnThe UK's best selling automotive magazine ‘Top Gear’ has named the Peugeot RCZ as ‘Coupe of the Year 2010’, the assessment of the Peugeot RCZ took the car to extreme road testing in Northern China in the proximity of the Great Wall. The magazine reports: "The Peugeot RCZ is a beautifully balanced car, easy to drive quickly. Low and wide, it always feels completely on your side, gripping hard, resorting to understeer only at the limit. The Peugeot RCZ is positioned as a small, sophisticated GT, and fills it perfectly." The Peugeot was also awarded 'The most Beautiful Car of The Year 2009' by over 100,000 online voters from 62 countries.
