The Center for Disease Control and Prevention published a report last Friday about the most common side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine. This is specific to the American population and only to those who received Pfizer’s or Moderna’s vaccines. The analysis was taken from the first month of vaccinations for a period of a month between December 14 of 2020 and January of 2021. More than 13.7 million doses were administered during this period. Findings indicate that there were 6,994 cases that had adverse events. 6,354 of these were not serious, and 640 were serious ones that included 113 deaths. The most common side effects reported were: ●Headachern●Dizzinessrn●Fatiguern●Nausea Some people also reported having chills. Some severe cases were life-threatening. These reports included allergic reactions to the vaccine. Because of this, the CDC strongly recommends that you speak with a doctor before taking the vaccine.

President Biden Seeks to End Cancer

USA President Joe Biden said last Friday that once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, his administration is going to take cancer head-on. He further mentioned that two White House offices would be deeply involved in the development of an advanced-research effort to curb the disease. Cancer is the second top cause of death in the USA. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, there are nearly 600,000 people who have cancer as of 2019. It is projected that by 2021, more than 1.9 million new cases will be diagnosed. One of the President’s sons died of cancer at the age of 46. He had an aggressive form of brain cancer. Amidst the pandemic, President Biden is aware that new strains are coming out. He said that the USA might surpass 500,000 deaths because of COVID-19, but he remains positive as it is his goal to surpass 100 million vaccinated Americans before the end of his first 100 days as president.

US COVID Cases Slowing, but More Deaths Are Projected

More than 497,500 Americans died of COVID as of the time of this writing. More than 91,000 are projected to lose their lives by mid-year of 2021. This is according to the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation. How COVID-19 will spread will depend on how people respond to the ongoing vaccination procedures. If people get vaccinated, they will have the confidence to be more mobile, even if they are not carriers. Even if people stay at home and just get entertained or play at sites like Vulkan Casino, they may still get the disease if the people they are with constantly go out. The goal is to reach herd immunity. This can be achieved if a majority of the population is already immune to the virus. Dr. Anthony Fauci said that between 70% and 85% of Americans must be vaccinated to be able to achieve herd immunity. As of today, more than 17.8 million people received the vaccine, but this only accounts for 5.5% of the population of the USA.

Chemicals in Plastics Damage Babies’ Brains

Recent findings show that plastics have chemicals called phthalates. These chemicals damage the brains of babies, and they must be immediately taken off shelves and banned from manufacturing. This revelation comes from a group of experts and scientists at an organization called Project TENDR. Project TENDR stands for Targeting Environmental Neuro-Development Risks. It is a group comprised of volunteers, most of whom are scientists and health professionals and advocates of children’s safety. According to Project TENDR, the chemicals are so widespread. They are so common that they are added to many consumer products. They are seen in the following products and industries: ●Automotive industryrn●Goods for the homern●Personal care itemsrn●Food packagingrn●Furniturern●Vinyl flooring This type of plastic is also found in shampoos, nail polish and so much more. According to the group, this chemical must be listed in product labels and not just labelled as “fragrance” in some products. Phthalates plastic is also used in PVC plumbing, which means that it is found in almost every home that uses PCV for tubing. Studies indicate that this chemical has a connection to childhood obesity, genital malformations and undescended testes in boys, apart from the brain damage that it causes.
