Create Your Own Reality: Your Perceptions Are Key

Do you know you possess an unlimited source of power to create your own reality… a reality that can exceed your wildest dreams?

Before we go any further it’s important to point out that ‘your reality’ is not controlled by governments, your boss, your parents or your friends… but solely by you!

The key component that creates your own reality is your perception.

Life is all about perception. It’s your perceptions what
create your own reality whether they’re right or wrong.

However, the problem that most people face is a refusal to ever challenge their perceptions about life.

Your perception of any given situation may be totally different to that of someone else’s perception.

But ultimately, it is this view you have of things that determines your life experiences and results.

We’ve all have the freedom of choice of how we see and perceive things. How we perceive the people we meet, the places we visit, the situations we face and the conditions we experience are all under our sole control.

Unfortunately, that’s where the biggest problem lies.

APPEARANCES=PERCEPTION=REALITY

In Wallace D Wattles classic book ‘The Science of Getting Rich’ he talks about how the majority of people think and perceive things according to appearance.

He states that ‘Every appearance in the visible world tends to produce a corresponding form in the mind which observes it…’

Currently, we live under the cloud of economic recession and austerity. Businesses are going to the wall, people are losing their jobs, and houses are being repossessed every single week.

While the vast majorities are paralyzed by fear, struggle and scarcity, there are however, countless other businesses and entrepreneurs who are making more money than ever before.

In fact history has shown us that times of recession are actually the best time to create wealth and achieve financial freedom.

World famous businesses like Burger King, Fed Ex, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard were all born during serious economic slumps.

So let me ask you this question… what perceptions do you think these kinds of people had when the world around them was teetering on the brink of ruin?

Panic, resignation and despair?

Definitely not!!!!

They viewed the economic conditions in a totally different way. Instead of problems they saw challenges. Instead of despair they saw hope. Instead of misfortune they saw opportunity.

Other situations where people’s perceptions have creating different realities are with siblings

We have all heard about instances where two siblings who of roughly the same age have grown up in an abusive and toxic environment, but then have gone on to lead totally contrasting lives. One unfortunately will have a life that’s full of struggle and problems, while the other’s life will be one that’s content, happy and successful. Why is this often the case? It’s simply because each sibling chose to perceive their conditions growing up in totally different ways resulting in them creating completely different outcomes for themselves.

CHANGE YOUR STORY AND CHANGE YOUR LIFE

We are all living out some sort of life story. Our life stories are created from our past experiences. It’s these very experiences that shape our thoughts, beliefs, habits and perceptions.

What story are you living out right now? Is it one that’s determined by your parents, partner, friends or the media?

Are your thoughts and perception dictating a life of never ending struggle? If so then I have some good news for you.

You don’t have to keep playing out the story. In fact you can start writing your very own story… a story that’s more inspiring, and where you become the director as well as the actor.

Making the conscious decision to change your perception will have dramatic effects on your whole life. Your power to create your own reality, one that is more exciting and rewarding than ever before will finally be in your possession.
