First aid for sports can be extremely useful and one man who may rely on products like this for the rest of his career is cricketer Rob Key. According to a report on Kent Online, the 32-year-old might need to use a sports ice pack each time he steps onto the field.
The publication noted that he had surgery on his wrist over the winter and there was uncertainty as to whether he would be able to open the batting at the start of the season. However, he responded well to his operation and has been given the all-clear to play.
Commenting on his injury, he said: "It needs managing and I feel I spend my life walking around with ice packs on it to make sure the pain goes away, but it feels better than it has done for a long time.
"I think unfortunately it is the sign of old age. I have pretty unstable wrists as it is so have to somehow keep on top of them."
Meanwhile, talking about his recovery over recent months, he added: "Having a winter out when I didn't get to hold a cricket bat until the end of February and then come back in my first game ... was pleasing."
According to Kent Online, Key appeared to be back in good form. It noted that he hit a "measured 97".
Many individuals make use of cold packs to help them reduce their pain and to minimise any swelling caused by injuries. Of course, there are other products that can also help to minimise physical weaknesses. For example, an adhesive support bandage can be useful in a variety of circumstances.
Thankfully, sourcing medical provisions like this is now easier than ever and many people are heading online to get their hands on the items.
