When dealing with anxiety symptoms, you go through events that others around you don't see. Maybe you're walking down a hallway and all of the sudden the walls start closing in frantically. You start to run towards the light before they close completely, but it just doesn't seem like you're going to make it. Eventually when you come to, your friend is wondering what is wrong. This is anxiety and the way it makes you feel. Just simply worry that no matter how hard you try you won't make it.

These are the types of feelings that affects millions of people everyday. It's a combination of the worrisome feeling, that disaster is around the corner, and doom is the focus. While it would be much easier to treat if only a certain age group dealt with panic disorder, it actually plagues individuals of all different ages. Whether you think about family, work, health, money or another issue, anyone one of them could trigger an attack.

Anxiety symptoms include intense headaches, sweating, irritability, muscle tension, nausea, and tiredness. People ridden with panic disorder feel on edge a lot of the time.

Often times, people with panic disorder have troubled relationships with friends and family due to always feeling they have to be on guard against whatever bad may come to them. Other anxiety symptoms include tiredness, trembling, difficulty focusing on a task at hand, and difficulty falling and staying asleep. Many people with panic attacks also feel shortness of breath and often gasp for air.

Another good example of an anxiety disorder is to imagine you are drowning and you are sinking to the bottom. You can see the top and move your arms, but you are not getting there fast enough. When you finally reach the surface, you gasp for air and draw the attention of many around you. This happens to many people with anxiety in the middle of the mall, in the classroom, or in a social setting.

The cause behind anxiety disorder is doing too many factors. A prime example is simply genetics. These passing traits play a large role in many disorders, but anxiety disorders are at the top of the list.

Another factor at the top of the list includes factors from the environment, such as abuse, death, and basic changes in life. These environmental factors cause change that can be difficult to handle.

An important aspect to understand is that anxiety symptoms can destroy a person's life. You have to figure out how to handle it properly. The symptoms themselves will vary depending on your age. The simple solution is to talk it out with a friend or family member, maybe meditation, or go out and take a walk.

It is possible that you or the individual you know with anxiety disorder ends up developing a different disorder. Whether it's depression, panic disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder, they should all be recognized. You have to handle panic attacks symptoms once way or another. If talking with someone else doesn't work, or you don't want to deal with others, we recommend a good self-help book. Doctors around the world have written several good books about dealing with anxiety disorder.

However, the most important thing to do is take baby steps. anxiety symptoms are definitely overwhelming, especially for children. The goal is to address the situation as early and often as possible. This will allow you to have more control over the situation. Once you understand panic disorder is a reaction to stress, it will definitely be easier to handle. Everyone with anxiety disorder should get the opportunity to enjoy life like anyone else.
