“Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.” Alcoholics Anonymous
"Step 10 isn’t only about our relationship with other people. It’s about our relationship with ourselves, and with our God. What and how did I think today? How did I speak, to others, and to myself? Did I take action that was conducive to my growth, or that kept me stuck? Step 10 is about looking at how we show up in the world, and making a conscious, intentional choice; what worked, and what could I do differently? It’s about changing and growing our lives, one day at a time. - Rev. Jeff Anderson
God is in the house and Love is everywhere, but I must choose to see it. I must choose to see God/Love in each and every person I encounter. I must choose to know God is in each and every one of us regardless if our paths ever cross. For I choose to know there is only one heart, one soul, one mind and I know each of us is a manifestation of that one. We are all a microcosm of the greater whole; we are all connected through that same energy that permeates everything. I know with every fiber of my being that when I choose to align with the perfection that is God, I align with the Truth that predates all Truth; I align with the Knowledge of the ancients-there is no separation. There is God, there is me, there is you. There are the people I choose to call friends, the people I don’t know, the people I agree with and those I don’t – all ONE. When I truly understand that from within then it is hard not to “love everybody” as Big Kenny says (Big and Rich). Even those people who I may no longer choose to associate with, I now choose to look at with the miracle eyes of the prophet Jesus knowing that they too are a manifestation of God and I am even one with them. I may not choose to have them in my life but I choose to forgive them, forgive myself, and love them unconditionally as I bless them on their path. For I know that they are choosing to live their life and mine is not to judge their journey. I consciously choose not to judge others or myself, I consciously choose to forgive others and myself, and most importantly I consciously choose to love others and myself unconditionally. For I know when I allow the power of love to permeate every cell of my being I feel this love as a blanket of light enfolding me in its warmth and tende
ess. I know that God is love. I know that this love is reaching out towards each of us to nurture, encourage, heal & protect us. I see love flowing from our hands, our eyes, our mouths, and our hearts out into the world, encircling the world, and flowing back to each of us. God is in the house because God is in you; wherever you go, whoever you meet know that you are a manifestation of God in human form. You are Spirit having a human experience. Remember we create our own reality, choose to be that presence of unconditional love, choose to be the presence of peace, choose to be creative, choose to be the one who forgives, choose to stand firm in the belief that the only way you can change the world is one person at a time and that one person is you. Thank Father, Mother, God, Spirit in me for allowing me to know this Truth in myself and to see this Truth in others - even when they can’t see it in themselves. I am grateful for the unconditional love that permeates through me and through every being even those who may not yet know they are connected to each of us. I am grateful for knowing that I make a difference. I am grateful for knowing that love, peace, creativity and forgiveness are inside out not outside in. I am grateful today as I realign with the infinite source from within and realize I just changed the world by changing my energy. I release this Truth out into the Universe knowing that the larger Self already IS this Truth. I let go and I let God and so it is
