Thinking back over last month, ask yourself what did you learn? From that lesson work out what you need to do differently in order to repeat a success or to avoid another mistake. Introspection is a great tool to build a better future for yourself. Look into your own actions, examining the previous month, and why events turned out the way they did. What was your ownership in both the good and the not so good events of the last month?
Ask yourself the questions that will move you forward towards success and avoiding pitfalls. Did you accomplish all that you could or intended to, if not, why not? What can you do this month to further those accomplishments? What can you do this month to avoid stress?
Perhaps this month you can be more organized, so that you can avoid stressful situations. Perhaps you could start paying bills, setting up appointments in advance, allowing plenty of leeway on your time, and blocking out periods of uninterrupted work time.
Think about your relationships with family and friends over the last month. Are there times when you could you have been more forgiving, more helpful or maybe less judgmental? What can you do differently this month to foster good relationships?
Have you done the right thing in each situation this last month, or should you have done better? What can you do this month to correct any mistakes you may have made consciously or unconsciously? Maybe you are upset over something that is spoiling your daily life - If this is the case, what can you do about it? If nothing, then mentally drop the thoughts, put the people or events out of your mind and move on. Don't take superfluous baggage into the new month with you.
What new possibilities can you see in the upcoming month? What actions can you take now to make the most of them? What disagreeable tasks have you been putting off? Plan to get them done first so that you can put them behind you and concentrate on more constructive actions.
Resolve to be happy this coming month, no matter what. Often, happiness is a decision that you just make. Look for ways to take pleasure in your life, and plan your work. If you don't enjoy your work, make the changes you need to find a more satisfying occupation.
Have a wonderful month!
