After the US Open the ATP World Tour leaves America to make two stop in Europe before moving into Asia.

Defending champions Serbia are two rivals away from revalidating the title won in 2010. Their first obstacle is Argentina, who they will receive in the Belgrade Arena from September 16-18 for the first time since the breakup of Yugoslavia.

The Serbs defeated Sweden in the quarter-finals; meanwhile the South Americans dispatched Kazakhstan. Argentina will try to put an end to a winning streak that Serbia began in 2009, and David Nalbandian, Juan Martin del Potro, Juan Monaco and Juan Ignacio Chela are the chosen ones to do so.

Leaded by World No.
1 Novak Djokovic the Serb’s squad will be completed by Viktor Troicki, Janko Tipsarevic and Nenad Zimonjic in Belgrade.

The other finalist will come out from the showdown betwee
Spain and France, nations that made it into the World Group Semi-finals by getting rid of United States and Germany on the road respectively.

The 2009 champions will be receiving the Frenchmen with the same roster that led them to that title: Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez. In front they will have Gael Monfils, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gilles Simon and Richard Gasquet looking to upset them at Plaza de Toros de los Califas.

Head-to-head the Spaniards have the lead with five victories in seven confrontations. But statistics can be tricky, because looking at their last showdow
France swept Spain 5-0 at Clermont Ferrand last year.

After the World Group Semi-finals the ATP World Tour 250 series brings four tou
aments that will de disputed in two continents: the Moselle Open and BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy in Europe, and the PTT Thailand Open and Malaysian Open in Asia.

Since its inaugural tou
ament was disputed in 2003 the Moselle Open has been dominated by Frenchmen, such as defending champio
Gilles Simon. ‘The Green City’ offers another attraction for visitors besides its beautiful architecture, which this year will be disputed from September 19-25 at the Metz Arena, famous for its GreenSet surface.

Romania’s capital city, Bucharest, will host the 2011 BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy between the 19th and 25th of September. It will be the last clay surface event of the World Tour season, which was won last year by Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela with a double sweep.

With the presence of Andy Murray, Robin Soderling and Gael Monfils, three of the world’s top 10 players, the 2011 PTT Thailand Open keeps on attracting big names to their event, to be disputed from September 28 through October 2 at Bangkok. In its past editio
Spaniard Guillermo Garcia-Lorca clinched title and this year he will have the chance to go back-to-back like Roger Federer did between 2004 adn 2005.

Southeast Asia gets a share of the ATP World Tour 250 series with the Malaysian Open, a tou
ament launched in 2009 at Kuala Lumpur, a 21-st century metropolis with the tallest skyscrapers in the region. This hard court event disputed at the Putra Stadium where last year Russian Mikhail Youzhny clinched title, and will be defied this time by top players such as Nikolay Davydenko, Tomas Berdych and Nicolas Almagro from September 26 to October 2.
