Is fear robbing you? The solution is to change your perception. Fear is only a product of our minds and to overcome your obstacles and insecurities, you must change the way you perceive things, and the way you relate to them. It is rarely a reflection of your current reality, and it is usually the result of the anticipation of negative future events.nnThere are different ways in which people respond to fear:nn• avoiding things and finding ways of getting around themn• giving in to the fear and doing nothing at alln• letting the fear be a catalyst and provoke them into actionnnnThe thing that you fear the most is often the one that stands in the way of what you really want. Do not let it rule your life! Recognize fear for what it is and let your fear act as a motivator to get you where you want to be. I am sure you have heard the phrase, 'feel the fear and do it anyway'. It is possible to fear something, and yet move past it and still go for what you want.nnFear is an illusion, a perception created in your own mind. Take for example a man who thinks he’s rich when he buys a million dollar home and is surrounded by smaller homes. He believes he’s wealthy until he drives around the corner to another neighborhood and sees homes that are twice as big as his. So what is his perception now? The reality is that he is neither.nnThe key is to recognize fear for what it is, and refuse to let it hold you back from your dreams. The antidote to fear is taking action against it:nn• develop a clear strategy for overcoming fearn• start taking action n• do a little bit every day towards overcoming your fearnnYour plan will never be a perfect one. You will have to make adjustments as you go. Discover what is working and what is not. In the moment you start taking action, your fear will start losing its power.nnFocus on your plan, and take some action every day. It is very unlikely that your fears will disappear completely, because they have an annoying habit of showing up when you least expect them. Just ignore them, take a deep breath, and live your life the way you want to live it.nnWhen stepping out of your Comfort Zone, and starting to do things that you're afraid of doing, you will soon realize that fear was bigger then the thing itself, and there was really nothing to be afraid of. Things are rarely as bad as you picture them.nnDo not let your fears rob you of your dreams. Do something towards overcoming them every day. Keep pushing through, and silence them forever.
