Dell has unveiled yet another impressively thin and sexily designed laptop Dell XPS 13. Dell has been among the top guns in the field of computers and laptops manufacturer and the launch of XPS 13 has again proven its leadership. Dell XPS 13 has an attractive jaw dropping slim look or in other words we can say that it is an ultra thin version of Dell XPS 15z and Dell XPS 14z. The smooth silvery shinning laptop has a measurement of 70 mm at its thinnest point, along with 2.9 pounds of impressively light weight making it an impressively compact machine.

Dell XPS 13 has matte silver plastic top, which is rigged with durable aluminum. Its Gorilla Glass cover would give enough support for LCD screen protection. It has lighted keyboard and whether you love it or hate it, Dell XPS 13 also comes with all in one track pad, just like any other standard Ultrabooks. However, its deck is soft to touch, which makes your palm feels really comfortable. Below, it has track-pad, which is activity light visible when the laptop is closed.

Dell XPS 13 comes with both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port. USB port 2.0, along with headphone and microphone jack is located on left side. While, Power and USB 3.0 port is on right side of the laptop. That’s all what you have got s an input and output features in Dell XPS 13. The presence of SD card reader slot could have been nice. It also lacks optical disk drive.

Beside, odds like the absence of optical disk drive and SD card slots. It has really got interesting goodies at its bottom. It has drag racer inspired carbon fiber panel. Another feature which makes it a little innovative in bottom section is the aluminum latch, which hides the Windows 7 system information. This is not overly essential, however a nice touch.

Dell XPS 13 has standard Corei5 processor and 128 GB hard drive. However, its upgrade version comes with Core i7 Intel processor with 256 GB of hard drive. Currently, Dell is offering XPS 13 with 4 GB of RAM and integrated graphics. It’s bright and surprisingly clear 1366x768 screen panel, along with thin look makes it stand in front of other Ultrabooks. Despite its small size, Dell XPS 13 offers full size keyboard, a soft touch palm rest and touch pad. This will give its users a comfortable experience.
