This article is part of a class I taught recently on developing life strategies that work . The class was put together around seven spiritualprinciples that are basic in all of our lives. We also developed specific strategies around each one of the principles involved. The following material is from part one of the class.
Principle # 1-If you don't learn (GET IT) the lesson now, it will return again and again.
STRATEGY: Learn why you and other people do what they do and be willing to change your behavior accordingly.
1) Realize that by the time you notice the lesson, it has already occurred several times before.
2) If something negative is happening, look to the source and work to resolve it completely vs. band-aid it.
3) If you operate without the necessary behaviors, skills or information you need to get the results you desire, or if you operate without a plan or strategy you will often continue the same behaviors over and over with the same poor results.
Remember that Einstein's definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results!
Resolve to gather knowledge about how and why you and others do you do.

These traits apply both within yourself as well as others you encounter on a daily basis. Test them out...nexample: resolve to go into a store today that you have to go into, smile and make eye contact and say something positive to the person you are dealing with. Notice what their behavior is toward you.
If you wish to develop a strategy that:na) enables you to understand your own behaviors andnb) enables you to positively influence othersnnthese traits are a simple list toward understanding how we respond to others. n
