Despite the Disastrous Performance of Trump and his Scandals, Would Hillary Lose the Presidency?

A close look at the current American Election, the latest polls put Hilary Clinton ahead of Donald Trump due to the disastrous performance of Mr. Trump. Nevertheless, despite his divisive statements and unorthodox conduct, Donald Trump gathered enough support to gear some political analysts to believe that he may become the next president of the USA.

Jonathan Ernst, a professor who has accurately predicted the outcome of every presidential election since 1984, told The Washington Post that Donald Trump will win the November Presidential Election.

One may wonder about the fascination and appeal of Mr. Trump to those who support him.

Despite his disastrous performance and his scandals, it is too obvious that Trump touched on issues that are important to them such as his intention to eliminate or at least minimize the flood of immigrants, including Muslims, Hispanics along with other minorities into the USA.

He emphasized that he will take a tough stand in dealing with China on important issues such as the imbalance in trade and the rising power of China worldwide.

His rhetorical of making America great again led some delusional grandiose individuals to lean toward supporting him.

His admiration of dictators worldwide earned him the support of those who believe that democracy is a luxury that human beings can not afford. He thinks that oppression is justified if it leads to stability.

The November Presidential election gains its importance from the fact that if Hillary Clinton wins it, she will make history by becoming the first female president of the United States breaking the gender barrier that prevented previous female candidates from achieving that goal. During the last two presidential elections, the USA elected the first African American president.

Would Hillary Clinton be able to continue the trend of making history by becoming the first female president of the USA? Most people worldwide in general and females in particular hope so. However, reality leads one to examine the possibility with objectivity.

It is a well-known fact that Hillary Clinton is facing major obstacles that may impede her path to the Oval Office in the white house.

First of all, her encounter with health problems geared some of her supporters to question the wisdom of electing a president who may be unable to deal with the challenges and stress of the presidency.

Secondly, her use of private emails to deal with national issues seems to be a nightmare that doesn’t go away. The latest news indicated that the FBI gave immunity to some of her former staff to testify regarding the seriousness of the issue. That may lead to an indictment which, for certain, would eliminate her candidacy in the presidential election.

According to American national polls, more than half of the American voters lost faith in her honesty. Would the American citizens vote for someone whom they don’t trust?
Americans who oppose the policies of President Obama will be reluctant to vote for Hillary Clinton fearing that she will follow the same path of being indecisive of dealing with crucial international crisis.

Of course, the affairs of her husband, Bill Clinton, that are known in the American media may cast a shadow of doubt on her ability to hold the USA together if she can’t hold her own household. Some religious people may be apprehensive to vote for an individual with a loose moral on the issue of extramarital affairs.

Finally, would the American male chauvinists accept a female to be their president? Logic would lead one to believe the contrary.

One can go on stating the apparent obstacles that may
impede her election as the next president of the USA but they are omitted due to their insignificance.

One positive event that may benefit her is the fact that some important Republicans stated publicly their opposition to the election of Mr. Trump as the next American president. They may abstain from voting or vote for Hillary Clinton.

The majority of members of the movie industry and the media venues endorsed her which may influence some fans to vote for her.

Would Hillary be able to transcend all obstacles that she is facing in her endeavor to become the first female president of the USA to make history?

Most people worldwide including the majority of Chinese truly hope so for the sake of achieving harmonious coexistence between people everywhere.
