CREATE A FOCAL POINT Most developers get lost in the elements and can never quite figure out how to create emphasis in web design. But it’s actually a pretty simple factor to create and chances are many of us do it without even thinking about it. For FREE Website</> Visit www.webtoolson.comThe main three elements to emphasis are: ProportionrnContrastrnPhysical Relationship Proportion Proportion is basically the dimension and scale of two or more elements on the webs page. Larger factors need more of our interest so a really quick way to create a factor of interest is to create the focal factor greater than factors around it. Putting a larger dimension item next to small factors will immediately pick up the interest of the audience. But basically creating something big may not be enough if you have a lot of elements that are competitive with it. Scale is the comparative relation between elements; scale is how we understand the connection of the objects. Certain elements have organic connection and organic styles, so if you reduce the dimension of larger factors and enhance small factors, their extraordinary connection will take a position of standing out and arouse interest. This use of scale is more common in digital cameras, but you can also do this in web design; for example, you could create your navigation management buttons disproportionately larger in evaluation to a picture or headline – supposing you want your navigation buttons to be the factor of interest. Contrast A really simple way to create points of interest in web style is to use distinct elements. Comparison is really about creating one factor take a position of standing out against another factor making it more noticeable. However, too much contrast can be annoying or can over darken subordinate elements completely, so the key is not to add too much contrast between elements – just enough to create a separation. You can create contrast between elements by using one or more of these three properties: ColorrnShapernSize The use of color is a fantastic way to create contrast. More vivid and lighter shades like red, lemon, or fluorescent shades normally arouse our interest. A red item next to a blue element will always be the factor of interest. This is also true for gray scale images, but based on what value is used, the white-colored or the dark will be the factor of interest. A white-colored item on a dark background will give rise to our interest and a dark item on white-colored background will pick up our eyes. The shape of objects can also impact contrast. A component with a more complicated form (like a star or sunburst) will contrast more than smoother, easier shapes like squares and circles. We have all seen those star/explosion ‘stickers’ on web sites the read “Try it FREE!!!” and the reason why they stand out (besides the annoying shiny yellow-colored color) is their celebrity or blast form, a circle shape will most likely just merge in with other elements like management buttons or pictures. Like we mentioned previously, a larger item is unique in a list of small objects because a larger item has more contrast. Think about Dwayne Go standing in the center of munchkin land. Larger factors, lighter factors and busier objects factor our interest so use them to create contrast in your web style structure.
