Diabetes has hidden problems that begin before diagnosis and continue to worsen if certain steps are not taken to prevent the problems that are the true, "killers" in terms of form 2 being diabetic. Statistics present that there are around 18 million form 2 being diabetic patients in America, both Type 1 and Type 2. Without traveling the challenging route in this article, I will try to give a easy, straight forward answer to the above question. Diabetics live shorter daily life than non-diabetics because of suffering from form 2 being diabetic problems. What Are Diabetic Complications? Diabetic problems are chronic problems that begin to affect your body of the suffering from form 2 being diabetic. These problems are brought about mostly by a condition the specialist community had named, "Advanced Glycation End products" which is simply, "excess sugar" saturating the inside of the skin cells of your body. This condition also called AGE for short includes coronary heart, vascular illness, loss of sight, kidney illness, retinopathy (blindness) and loss of feeling in the hands and the feet (peripheral neuropathy) among others. Diabetes in the early stages does not generate symptoms. Unless found during a routine health check, it is possible for a suffering from form 2 being diabetic to remain undiscovered for decades. The Different Types Of Diabetes There are two types of form 2 being diabetic - Type One and Type Two. Type One attacks children and young adults and is recognized by the pancreatic failing to generate injections which is a hormone that breaks down sugars and starches while converting them into energy. Type Two occurs usually later in an adult's daily life and is recognized by the pancreatic being unable to generate enough injections due to several factors, obesity being one of them. Around 10 percent of form 2 being diabetic patients are Type One while the other 90 percent are Type Two. The major difference between the two being that Type One form 2 being diabetic patients are completely dependent on injections and take daily injections while the Type Two's have both those who require injections shots while others can rely on oral medication and/or changes in diet and exercise.
