Basically, there are 2 types of membership websites.
Paid websites and free sites. These two types of membership sites have a thing in common. Their memberships consist of people who have the same needs or share a common interests.
One can still buy a domain, set up a site and choose who to admit or not, while still not paying for a membership.The earnings {will come eventually|will eventually be coming] from sales to members after they have signed up. There are free network websites that might be used for your purpose. Group sites on MSN and on Yahoo are examples of free membership websites. There is no charge at all for anyone to join and it costs nothing to build these sites. There are no paid administrators or moderators needed for these types of sites.
On each site, there are rules on how to join and the code of conduct for that particular site. The website subjects are numerous and diverse. There are a lot of “support” sites for individuals with health problems or concerns and for those who have grieved the loss of loved ones. There are sites for those who are passionate about crafts like quilting or woodworking.
For those who love to travel, there are also websites available for them.
There are websites for different age groups from teens to seniors. For every member, there is an available chat software and a space alloted for documents, links and for posting photos. If there's one thing these free sites don't have, it is access to lists and specialized data like music lessons.
On the other hand, paid for membership websites are built by people or {businesses|companies|ventures] to make money by giving information and access to a number of fields of instructions, specific information or lists. The operation of the membership websites are either done by those who own the site or those who are hired by the site owner to check and look after the site. The subjects are wider and even more mixed and certainly more specialized than those from free membership websites.
