Where do you feel at home?

Two weeks ago I sat in a plane and read an article in the Lufthansa Magazine (May 2013) about Bryan Adams, Rockstar and also a very good photographer. He said: I feel at home anywhere in the world.“ Born in Canada, he now lives in London with his partner and two daughters.

I like that a lot and it's exactly what I feel at present. I love dipping into other cultures to discover and become acquainted with new things. I love the idea that a lot remains a secret. That's the mysterious part of being here. I find it very important to keep a broadened perspective on things.

All other people are part of our society. We could also see our society as a body with arms and legs. The arm is, of course, different from the leg. Nevertheless, if something happens to a foot, a hand will reach down to help the foot. The same goes for our society. If there is something wrong, help is needed. We see that each and every day on the news.

The Dalai Lama was once asked, why he is so popular in the West, even though he comes from such a different culture? He answered that he doesn't think that he has especially good qualities, maybe just some small things. He has a postive mind. And he believes that people like him for his good heart. At the start, they are curious about him. Whenever he meets someone for the first time, that someone is not a stranger for him, but another human being. Just the same as he is. I believe that the Dalai Lama is a very direct and charming person. His legendary warmth is simply a manifestation of his spiritual attainment. We sense an uncommonly pure centre inside him, and that's extraordinary, I think, for someone who has been in exile for over fifty years.

His smile is unique and he has the gift of not taking things too seriously. I've heard that the Tibetan people are generally jovial. They have that in common with the irish – they also love a bit of craic“.

Leave the usual beaten path of tourism and discover a new, exciting way to travel. A way of travelling which will not only bring you closer to countries and people, but will allow you to stay true to yourself and your own ideals. Don't forget, some people smile to make friends,
others smile to look younger and live longer
and there are those, who so totally get life,
that smiling is all they know.

On our website: www.world-wise-connections.de, we present opportunities of travel to you which will not only widen your horizon. They will also open hearts. Because no matter how far we travel, we become closer to our inner self. And you will not only get to know exciting places, beautiful countries and thrilling cultures. New friends will also be made!

Celebrate our common humanity with a prayer from the Dalai Lama:

May the poor find wealth,
Those weak with sorrow find joy.
May the forlo
find new hope,
constant happiness and prosperity.

May the frightened cease to be afraid,
And those bound be free.
May the weak find power,
and may their hearts join in friendship.

To answer your question, let’s study the following words of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, an Enlightened being, very carefully.
