Falcon DVME 200W Falcon DVME video storage is offered to perform mission critical video management applications and is capable of working in environments established for large scale security surveillance. The Falcon DVME has the ability to expand with the DNF security SeaHawk IP storage platform and so it offers superior storage capacity, in case an organization needs additional storage.
Falcon DVME is based on open platform architecture and so can work with any video management software and all leading video surveillance cameras and related equipment. This allows organizations use their present set of networking hardware and can save cost as well as facilitates faster deployments. Reviewing its hardware on per node basis, Falcon DVME has two hot swappable 600GB RAID certified SATA hard disks which have the ability to work with 10k RPM speeds, which enable faster access to video content stored in it. This whole storage system is based on 64-bit quad core architecture and works with a 6GB high speed video cache, which allows faster IO rates. Dual Copper gigabit Ethernet ports ensure that the whole video storage platform has faster connectivity to its associated Router, which in-turn connects to the world. Windows Server 2008 Standard R2 64 bit Operating System is loaded onto this Dual Video Management Engine. Raid levels 0 & 1 are implemented on this video storage platform and it has a 2Unit 19 inches Rackmount chassis form factor. In order to maintain a consistent power supply, a high efficient 80 plus gold certified power supply is installed in this Dual Video Management Engine.
Going through its technical specifications, DNF security Falcon DVME is offered with Indicators, which alert the administrator regarding network activity, power failures and system overheat. Falcon VME 400W DNF Security offers Falcon VME400w, which is a video management engine, enriched by standalone management gateway for high availability, redundancy and scalability option, which offers simple integration with IP storage. This system has a Two or four hot swappable RAID certified SAS disk drives (upto) 2.4TB capacity which operate with a 15000 RPM. This paves way for the faster access of data from the hard disks. The Falcon VME 400W is based on 64 bit quad core architecture and it has a 6GB high speed video cache, which offers faster IO rates for work functions. This video storage platform supports RAID levels of 0,1,5,10 and JBOD. It has Quad core Gigabit Ethernet ports, which offer faster connectivity.
Adding more to it, is an integrated DVD R/W which offers disc based backup, which is made possible by DVD burning software. Falcon VME is loaded with Windows server 2008 R2 which is a 64-bit standard OS. This whole platform is housed in a 1 unit 19 inches Rack Mount chassis.
