The SEO options on hand for internet marketers continue increasing all the time. Sticking the networking sites and bookmarking elements to the mix doesn’t help, because they’re just extra things to learn and bury yourself in, and can knock off time from your fitness business.

There was a time when the buzz phrase among web entrepreneurs was, “the money is in the list”. Genuinely enough, that thought holds right until now. Experienced internet entrepreneurs are very much concerned of this, and by no means walked out on their pursuit of email marketing.

Should you offer – that is the issue.

It is probable to put together and continue to run up a substantial flock of subscribers to your blog mailing list or to your e-zine without initiating a free offer. And it’s also possible to organize a free offer promotion that completely bombs.

The secret to deciding whether to dole out freebies to expand your email list is to understand your audience, and then to over-deliver by presenting them honest and handy health and fitness advice. That is the real giveaway, and one that will be extra helpful for everyone in the long-term.

What’s more, you can effortlessly turn the deal more appealing by beefing it up with a subscription discount to a gym or even a free iPad. Your genuine advice and the important information you present can attract them to subscribe to your list, but you can bring it up a notch by implicitly stating:

“I value my job, and I am completely sincere in assisting you to attain and sustain your targets. Truthfully, I am perfectly confident that I can be of help to you and that if you hit this promotion, you will get something at no cost and worthwhile. All you need to do is sign up with your email address.”

Can you see the power in this? It’s not just about delivering something away. It’s about giving exceptional value and sprinkling some sugar on top.

Raise up the noise and let them know about your free offer

Given that you over-deliver, you won’t have to ask for their email addresses again. Therefore, a continuous promotion is beneficial to raise your campaign results.

If you are dedicated in your effort to increase your fan list, that can measure up to a substantial advertising cost. But done correctly, it’s going to pay off much more.

Concentrating a meaty Adword or Facebook announcement to email signup instead of peddling a service could be just what you need. After all, it’s all about publicity not sales at this point, so stay with growing your list. Once you get their email addresses, you have them “for life”, as one might say. Ergo, if you gain their trust, you’ll have lots of chances to pitch and retail your products and services.

You’re going to need a war cry to call attention to the perks of opting in to your list and this will be your advertisement headline. Next, persuade them along by informing them about your free gift in the byline.

Let’s pick on this example …

Can you get rid of your gut in 10 weeks?
Pay attention to this free 1-minute video now. Win a free iPad.

You have three persuasive motivations in this instance. The first is the key reward you will offer them when enlisting on your list – this must be your major benefit so you can raise a good, focused list.

Subsequently is the 1-minute video, which implies that it is a very quick message and will not take up much of their time.

Last, is your free gift, the icing of the offer that will coax them to subscribe and win a prize.

Don’t forget to ask your readers to tell their family and friends about your free gift, after all, word of mouth still holds value. Along with that, get your post spread across the major social networks, so that you get some social “juice” coming back to your site, and thus to your list.
