One of the most confounding questions that arises in everyone’s mind at some point of time is: what exactly is the relationship between the body and the Soul? Are they two different beings or two parts of one being? Let us explore! Death is a universal phenomena. Every living being dies at some point. When a person dies, it is said that their body remains behind but the Soul moves on. In other words, the Soul departs from the body, after which, people announce that the person is dead. The body is then called a dead body and is laid on a pyre. This means that the body and the Soul are indeed two separate things. rnHow is Soul attached or involved with the body? rnDue to wrong belief. Gnani, the Enlightened One explains, “By wrong belief, you feel oneness with Claudet (you may insert your own name here), with the mind, the intellect, the thoughts, the speech, the behavior, etc. (everything that the body comprises of). Whenever Claudet takes decision, you feel, ‘I am taking the decision. Someone insults Claudet, you feel, ‘I have to suffer the insult.’ Your belief is wrong. Due to that wrong belief, you are totally involved in Claudet. Now, by Gnan Vidhi, with the grace of Dada Bhagwan, we are changing the wrong belief to right belief; the right belief of ‘Who am I, who is the doer what is relative and what is real, what is scientific circumstantial evidence, how to keep separation?” In Gnan Vidhi, we realize that, ‘Really, I am a Pure Soul?’ rnTo know more about Gnan Vidhi, you may visit, https://www.dadabhagwan.org/self-realization/ By the vision of Gnani, the Pure Soul is always separate from mind, speech, body, intellect, ego, everything! Gnani explains, “Really speaking, both the elements (the Soul and the matter) are always separate. Just like oil and water never mix with each other, the properties of both are such that they remain in an unmixable form; similarly here also, the Pure Soul and the matter, both these elements are totally separate and they do not really mix with each other. But due to wrong belief, we feel that, “I am suffering, I am doing, I am involved.” You remain in oneness with Claudet, but it’s by wrong belief only. There are 4 types of wrong beliefs:rn1.‘I’ am Claudet.rn2.This is ‘my’ body. So, with the possessiveness, you are attaching with Claudetrn3.I am ‘the doer’. I make food, do a job. So again you are joining with Claudet.rn4.I am ‘the sufferer’. Then also you become one with Claudet. By right belief, you can remain separate from Claudet. Whenever suffering comes, you have to understand, by understanding only, that, ‘whatever suffering comes, it is with Claudet, not with me.’ Because you are really separate from Claudet. In Gnan Vidhi, you get this knowledge of, ‘Who am I really.’ And thereafter, slowly, as you practice you can have more and more separation with Claudet.”rnThus, to conclude, when we take Gnan Vidhi, we realize how the body and the Soul are separate. And then, as we practice awareness of the Self, we, the Pure Soul, are able to experience more and more separation from Claudet (you may insert your own name here), her body, things that get done at the hands of Claudet and the sufferings that Claudet goes through. Healing rarely looks like we think it will. It’s messier, slower, and much more sacred. Some events split life into before and after. A sudden loss. A betrayal. An illness you didn’t see coming. Trauma feels like a storm that tears down the walls you thought were unshakable. But beneath the wreckage, something else waits. Something you might not expect. With time, and sometimes with the right sacred guidance, the very thing that broke you open can also become what awakens yo
