Regular exercise is very important for a golfer. Regular workouts can increase your performance in couple of weeks. Golf players do not need to visit gymnasium but golf workouts can be done at the comfort of your home with minimal equipment. You do not need better dynamic but good posture for improving your game. Your performance can be improved by doing special exercises. Two main forms of exercises which should be done regularly are stretching and strengthening exercises. Most of the exercises which a golfer does should be done for feet. All the work outs should be done in golf posture. Your exercise should mimic the golf swing. During workouts your knees should be always flexed. Golf swing is a rotational movement so the most important part of your work out should be rotational stretching exercises.

Never expect immediate results from an exercise program. You need to be consistent with your work out to bring your game to a new level. Due to process of aging strength and flexibility of a person decreases. Because of this reason especially old golfers should stick to regular work outs. Always expect realistic results from your work outs. Many people think that golf is a non strenuous sport and does not need special work outs. Without a regular exercise program your performance will decrease day by day. If you have seen decline in your performance then you should stick to an exercise program from today. Regular workouts can reverse the decline in the performance.
