Exercise for weight loss is very important but there are people who want to know what is really the best exercise for weight loss. Weight loss and exercise go hand in hand but there are many people that question what is the best exercise to lose weight.

Best Exercise For Weight Loss- Cardiovascular

Cardiovascular exercise, also known as CV exercise, is the best when it comes to losing weight quickly and successfully. This kind of exercise increases your heart rate helping your body burn fat at a much quicker pace than weight lifting.

Here are some other CV exercises to note, such as jogging, walking and cycling- just to name a few. These CV exercises have different pros and cons and will burn a varying amount of calories. Running, a fantastic exercise for those that enjoy it, just could be the best CV exercise for weight loss. Running, because of how it increases your heart rate, makes it possible to burn many calories quickly.

However, for the first timer looking to lose weight, swimming is a better alte
ative for weight loss. The water holds your body weight, which makes exercising easier to do. You can be a good swimmer or a so-so swimmer and the outcome; burning calories, will still be the same because you use every muscle in your body!

Weight Lifting- Not A Great Exercise To Lose Weight

The drawback's associated with weight lifting is that it builds the muscles but is not as effective with the burning of calories. While you will eventually begin to firm your body, you will not see the results under layers of fat that will still remain.

Weight training will also make you put on muscle. While this is a positive for your body, when you get on the scale you will not see any weight loss. Muscle mass is more dense than fat making it heavier, which is something that you constantly need to remind yourself of. So, if you have a certain weight in mind that you want to reach, weight training, as good as it is, is not the answer for weight loss.

Best Exercise To Lose Weight - Overall Thought

It is also worth remembering that no matter how much exercise you do, you will never lose weight purely through that. Change's in your diet is instrumental in your quest to successfully drop those extra pounds.
