In the age of what I’ll call, T.M.I. or Too Much Information, it’s easy to get distracted and get taken off course from what you honestly want out of life. Mind you, some of these ‘distractions’ can distract us for years, can’t they? In my opinion, T.M.I. is giving us all A.D.D (Attention Deficient Disorder)…that’s if we didn’t have it already! Being bombarded by T.M.I. keeps us constantly feeling like we have to catch-up. It confuses us. It makes us busy. It puts us under pressure. It creates stress. Too much information also creates too much choice. Surely the filtering systems that are responsible for filtering the information that we really need to take us forward in life are in overload. Is it just me or do you sometimes just shut down? Kind of like the “white screen of death” you get on your computer when it’s in overload… I feel that having a clear, thought-out Bucket List, which is really your goals that you want to achieve in life, could be your saving grace.rnSee, your Bucket List has to really mean something to you when you look at it. It’s got evoke happiness when you imagine yourself achieving the things on it. In my opinion, if you hold your Bucket List in high regard and you REALLY want the things on it, then the day-to-day T.M.I. and accompanying ‘distractions’ will pale into insignificance. Or in other words, seem not important when compared with your Bucket List. Focus now on what will make you happy and put it on your Bucket List. As soon as you do things will become clearer.
