Why is it so hard for telemarketing services to get good results in the social media for their sales campaign? This is supposed to make the business process better. There are a lot of problems encountered when companies use social media marketing. Some of these deal with the technical aspect, which can be easily solved by hiring a competent social media marketer. This problem is pretty much understandable since this trend has only occurred in recent times and not all marketing departments have the people savvy enough to do the job. This could perhaps explain the reason why companies have a hard time doing their work. This linear model follows a rigid framework that many telemarketers favor: brand awareness, initial purchase, repeat purchase, and subsequent loyalty. It is a transactional process that focuses more on the metrics that can measure whether it is successful or not.
In contrast, social media is all about striking up a conversation and establishing a personal relationship. Customers are persons as well, and they would like to know that the people they talk to are real and are not the product of some marketing plan. It is also unpredictable. Even if you employ the most elaborately planned social media campaign, you can never tell if what you are doing is right until you get the results. It is all about the feelings of your target market. Think about this as a sort of courtship, because that is exactly what it is. Unless you capture the heart of your prospects, you are not going anywhere at all. There is nothing to manage at all, and this is something that many managers of telemarketing firms find intimidating when they try to use social media for the first time.
Can social media help companies in Australia earn revenues? If we are more after profits, then this will not work out. But if you are more concerned about establishing a relationship with people, and worry about getting any sales done later, then this will be just the right thing for you. That is because they were more focused on serving the needs of their clients, only charging a fee for those who need bigger storage space. While it may be suicide for some marketers, it was proven to work, since those who pay tend to pay a lot.
