It is okay to get stuck at night thinking whether you will wear a bra to sleep in at night or not. It only means that you care more about your breast health than others who don’t give much attention to it. Yet, the question of wearing a bra to bed could lead to further confusion, deeper worries and sleepless nights. The myth that you always hear from someone that wearing a bra at bed could lessen the possibility of having a saggy breast could be a huge temptation to consider. However, what if your breast isn’t comfortable in your decision of wearing one at night? Will you still continue to make your breast suffer for the sake of this breast theory?rnSo to bring back your peace of mind, let’s elaborate the reasons if wearing a bra at night could give you benefits or discomfort the morning after. 1. Decreased Blood Circulation If you are wearing a bra at night, make sure that it is loose enough to allow normal blood circulation to flow into your breast. Wearing a bra that is too tight for your breast size could press down your blood vessels and restricting your blood flow over your breast which can result in the damage of tissues in your breast. 2. Pressure On Your Breast When we sleep, we unconsciously move our body from side to side. And at times, we position our body in a way that we lay on our stomach. When this happen, our breast will carry all the weight of our chest area. And if you are wearing a bra, the pressure of your chest to your breast plus the pressure of the bra can give your breast a hard time at night. 3. Skin Irritation I often question myself on what type of bra should I wear to bed to avoid skin irritation while I sleep. So to share with you the lessons I've learned based on my experiences if you chose to wear a bra at night, choose the bra that doesn't have many accessories in it as it may rub into your skin at night and can irritate your skin tissues over time. 4. Restlessness You have confined your breast in your bra the whole day. And just like the other parts of our body, our breast can get tired too from all the pressure of padded push-up bras or wired bras could give. So it is just right to treat your breast at night and distance yourself from the type of bras that can further give your breasts uneasiness. Wear a more breathable bra and let your breast be at peace while you sleep. 5. The Disadvantage Of Under-Wired Bras What type of bra should I wear to bed? Well, definitely not the wired one! If you are looking for the best bra to sleep in at night, make sure not to choose from heavily padded and wired bras as it bruises your breast at night. Metals found on wired bras are not good for an all–night stay on your breast since it is hard and could poke you accidentally while you sleep. So if you are planning to wear one, make sure it is not for a bedtime use. 6. Limited Breast Movement Bras are made to support the weight our breast and prevent it from sagging. It also restricts our breast to swing in whatever direction we face. This is why bras are designed to be a cage-like cup that locks our breast in place. And so, if you wear a bra at night, you are also limiting the movement of your breast at night. This may be good for some women, especially those with larger breast size. However, if you aren't used to restricted movements, your breast can suffer from soreness in the morning. 7. Hyperpigmentation Your breast could suffer from hyperpigmentation when your bras are too tight. This happens when your melanin level increases and you may start to observe some discoloration and uneven skin tone in your breast area. The main reason could be the constant rubbing of bra to your skin, so it is highly recommended to wear a loose bra at night. Deciding on whether to wear a bra at night or night is not just a simple choice to make. You will soon realize that this decision could affect your overall health over time especially if you start to experience some discomfort at night. So before stepping onto your bed, start implementing to yourself the things that could give you more benefits and say goodbye to things that cause you serious health concerns.
