Quite often, this happens due to one’s improper understanding of spirituality (the Soul world)! Otherwise, rnwhen in the Soul’s world, one does not have to leave anybody, here there’s natural love for everybody! when in the Soul’s world, one does not have to renounce his responsibilities, one renounces his inner attachment or hatred towards the responsibilities, that’s it!rnwhen in the Soul’s world, one does not experience any burden of responsibilities, one willingly renders all his responsibilities with total love, peace and compassion.rnwhen in the Soul’s world, one does not wish to harm or hurt any of his relations, one is happy in settling every relation’s claim with perfect equanimity. when in the Soul’s world, one does not have to practice selfishness to live happily, one’s endeavour is to remain in a constant awareness of the Self (the Soul), the inherent property of which is bliss, bliss and only bliss! Understanding the Soul’s world rightlyrnIn this world, one is indeed considered to be selfish when one is thinking only about himself and his family. Nevertheless, in the name of spirituality, renouncing kids and family when they need you around is also not at all right. Until one’s love, one’s compassion encompasses the entire world, his understanding of spirituality is incomplete. “Your intellect makes you perceive separation, but in reality, everything is one”, says Param Pujya Dadashri. In every living being, there resides the pure Soul, which is identical in nature. So, if being in the Soul world, one is not able to see the Soul in their kids, then renouncing one’s family too would be considered one form of selfishness only. rnBeing in the Soul world is definitely one of the best things, but one cannot renounce one’s responsibilities towards his / her family. Running away from responsibilities in the scare of bondage is not really spirituality. Spirituality actually is about renouncing the inner attachment or hatred towards the responsibilities.rnRenouncing kids would have been right when there would not exist any claim pending on the kids’ side. One’s ultimate goal on the path of spirituality is liberation (Moksha)rnParam Pujya Dada Bhagwan, the enlightened being, very categorically specifies, “One can never go to moksha by making someone unhappy.” Hence, he advises, you interact with your kids or relations in a way that does not hurt them and it brings about closure in their mind.rnWhat stops one from attaining Moksha? rnIt’s the claims from the past life’s karmic ties (kids, spouse, close relatives, etc)! Nature has not given us these kids. We, ourselves have brought them with us (from the past life), says Param Pujya Dadashri. He explains, “The current worldly interaction with anyone is indeed the one that was initiated in the past life. If that worldly interaction had not been initiated, the two of you would not meet in this life.” Settle All Claims with EquanimityrnTo become free from the claims of the files, Param Pujya Dadashri has given the key called ‘Settle them with equanimity” When these ties are settled with equanimity, we are free! So, after kids are born, we have to settle that karmic account with equanimity to ensure that it does not remain pending. Until that karmic account is complete, the account book of karma will not become completely clean, and hence complete settlement will not happen.rnIgnorance of the Self is the biggest mistakernOn the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Lord Krishna imparted the divine Vision to a devastated Arjuna. By utilizing this divine Vision, Arjuna fulfilled his responsibilities by fighting in the war, and also attained moksha in that very life as he settled all his karmic ties with equanimity. That very same divine Vision is received by people on the Akram path.rnIn Akram Vignan, in a two hour Gnan Vidhi, we too can attain this divine vision with the grace of the Living Gnani, the Enlightened One. Out of utter compassion, He sets in us the right belief of, ‘I am really a pure Soul.’ Thereafter, rnwith the relative vision, the kids, wife and every relation is seen, and accordingly the responsibilities towards them are fulfilled with love and equanimity; and rnwith the real Vision, the pure Soul within the kids, wife, every relation and within us too is Seen. Thus, to those who live happily in the Soul world, Param Pujya Dadashri advises, “Kids are John’s (you may insert your name here) responsibility, is it not? So You (the Soul) are separate, and John is separate. John becomes emotional, You do not become emotional, do You?... In worldly interaction, in the relative, wherever one feels at unease, it is one’s own fault. Just make sure attachment and abhorrence do not happen. To cleanse mistakes happening in worldly interaction, it is necessary to have both repentance in the relative and bliss in the real.” So, rendering one’s duties and responsibilities with love and sincerity is one’s relative religion. And to watch how John is rendering his duties and responsibilities, without any attachment or burden (hatred) i.e. with equanimity is one’s real religion.
