rnThe Dog names are selected by maintaining a special set of guidelines. They are many in number. The maximum limit for the names selected should be thirty six characters. All the punctuation marks, space between the words, the apostrophes as well as the hyphens are also counted. They have also launched a test program that has allowed the use of 50 characters for naming the dogs. For doing so an extra charge should be pain to the community for dogs.
The letters to be used for the Dog names should be limited to Standard English alphabet. The Diacritical markings ranging from accent grave to accent acute as well as umlaut are not supposed to be printed on the certificates of registration of the dog's name. The letters are always printed in capital letters on the Registration Certificates.
The dog names could not be selected without the prior permission as well as authorisation of the owner of that particular name. The use of roman numerals is not allowed in the ending of the names. The roman numerals are basically used for identification purposes. The same names can only be assigned to thirty seven dogs on that breed.
The dogs that are imported are also required to be registered in the same name with which it is registered in the country it earlier belonged to. The names once given cannot be changed anymore.
