Sick dog symptoms happen to even those taken cared of. These symptoms maybe an action which is not usual to do by your loved pet. Always take your canine family member to the veterinarian if you suspect he is sick. Your dog depends on you to know the signs if he is sick because he can’t tell you how he feels. There are different illness symptoms which show that a dog is really sick and we can name some as bleeding gums and bad breath. Bleeding gums is usually a sign that your dog has moderate to severe oral health problems, including an infection. Schedule an appointment with the veterinarian for teeth cleaning and possibly antibiotics. Give your dog plenty of water throughout the day while following your vet’s direction for further treatment. Moreover, we should not forget that some diseases can bring others to affect your dog’s health. Bloody stools are very serious in dogs. Your dog could have internal bleeding, some sort of blockage in the intestines or a disease. Collect the stool in a small plastic bag. Take your dog to the veterinarian office immediately with the stool you collected. In addition, coughing is never a good sign in dogs. It could be a result of allergies, kennel cough or even Parvo. Do not attempt to give your dog human allergy or cough medications. If your dog coughs, notify your veterinarian immediately. More than likely, you will need to go into the office for tests and treatment. So we have talked about the serious diseases affecting our dogs but there are of course others like fever due to infection diseases, constipation, and blood in the urine.
