Colored multifocal (or bifocal) contact lenses are one of todays popular choices for daily wear. Besides rectifying near-sightedness and far-sightedness of a person, they can totally alter the shade of your eyes or can operate to enhance dark or light eye color. There are two distinct functions of multifocal contact lenses which come in various designs. Since the lens is used for two distinct purposes, multifocal contacts are designed in various ways. In some designs, the corrective vision and colored patterns are placed on the same part of the lens while other designs place it far from the other.

As observed, colored lenses must not be worn when surrounded with dim lights. It gives the user distorted vision make it hard for them to see. The pupil is that region in the eyes which contract and focus on light to help us see objects clearly. Commonly the pupils expand in the evening. So that when the pupils dilate, eye focus may be obstructed with the color shade found in the lens and give us a different vision.
