We all know how important it is to have goals? But what isit that separates success and failure when endeavoring toachieve your goals? If I’m to point to one specific thingthat can surely sabotage your goal success it’s ambiguity. It’s a lack of being specific. It’s that vague paledefinition that doesn’t even sound believable when you sayit.

For example, “I want to loose weight”. It doesn’t provideanything that I would deem able to stimulate passion ,energy or excitement. It has no purpose, direction ortimetable attached to it. It’s destined to fail. In fact,it was never really a goal in the first place , at best itwas an ambiguous statement.

Goal setting is simple. Like anything, if you want toexperience success, follow those that have been successfuland copy them. Gary Ryan Blair aka “ The Goals Guy “ hasa quick a simple method. All you have to do to properlyplan your goals is to ask 3 questions.

WHAT? will help you define whether it’s something you wish to be, have or do.

HOW? will allow you to define with precision and exactness, what you must do to achieve your goals in a predetermined amount of time.

WHY? is the fuel you need to keep you going and give passion and purpose to your objective

Once you’ve answered these three questions in detail, you’ve got yourself a bona fide goal. Yes. It’s veryimportant to right it down. Writing it down clarifies andcrystallizes it for you It becomes a point of reference. Useit as a catalyst or trigger for the most powerful componentof reviewing your goals - the power of visualization.

Make sure your goals are close at hand and make a point ofreviewing your short term goals at least once a day.Although most successful people will tell you that they doit 2 or 3 times daily.

The problem is the onus is on you to remember to reviewthem. But is 1,2 or 3 times daily enough to make them happen. Is it often enough to engrain with certainty, your goalobjectives will be met? If you're truly serious about yourgoals and achieving them, why would you even want to leavethat to chance?

Why not put your daily goal review on autopilot.Imagine having your goals fed 1000's of times a day to yoursubconscious mind unobtrusively while all the while you'reworking, typing, playing or surfing on your computer.

If you want to have the most impact, you have to engagethe other 5/6ths of your brain ( your subconscious) to workharmoniously with your conscious will (1/6th of your brainpower). If you want the power to engrain your goals andobjectives into your subconscious.......see here for more info
