This is absolutely true. Have you ever found yourself shopping for clothes and you find that perfect item or perfect outfit that just makes you feel fabulous? I think most if us have. We look in the mirror from every angle and admire how fabulous we look.
Ahh that is a magic moment. If we are smart we buy it and let the feeling continue once we get home. The opposite is true when you are wearing something that is not your color or not flattering. How great can you possibly feel when you are wearing ill fitting clothes or clothes that are out of fashion? There is something to be said for clothes that make you feel great. You are of course not what you wear but what you wear can absolutely affect how you feel about yourself.
When you wear clothes that make you feel on top of the world it is a great confidence booster. You feel you look your best which makes your confidence soar. Other people will notice the difference in you and will respond to you in a way that makes you feel even better. We can influence how we feel on any given day by choosing to develop positive behavior patterns. It is as easy as making a choice to feel and look good and sticking with it.
Why wear clothes that are unflattering, out of fashion or just boring. Since you have to buy clothes anyway, why not only buy clothes that fit you to a T and make you feel absolutely fabulous. Whether it is the track suit or the business suit always look your best.
It is the same with taking care of yourself. It is essential to take the time and care to really take care of yourself. Get your hair cut and colored if needed, wax your eyebrows ( guys you may need to get them tweezed to avoid bushy brow) and color and make sure those legs and underarms are smooth.
All of these little things will make you subconsciously feel better. I also believe in wearing quality nice looking undergarments. Both men and woman have a variety of choices so why not get the good stuff.
The moral of the story is if you don´t feel confident then treat yourself a little better, dress in a way that makes you feel good and make sure that when you walk out of the house that you are looking your best.
