• Certificate III in Road Transport (Driving Instructor Skills – Car)

Premier Driving Academy vehicles are primarily new modern vehicles that are all well equipped with dual controls, air-conditioning, and power steering, as well as manual and automatic options.

Each learner driver is constantly monitored and reviewed to enable us to keep our monitoring systems up-to-date and to ensure they are consistently progressing and achieving an acceptable level of competency for Australian driving standards.

The program that we have specifically designed and written is aimed particularly at young and novice drivers. It also features elements of defensive driving and driver awareness but offers participants the following unique advantages:

• A range of specially modified vehicles is provided to allow participants to test drive a range of vehicles to understand their characteristics;
• Unlike other driver training programs this course is based on best-practice methodology to reduce over-confidence and risk-taking in participants by showing them the limits of their ability and the limits of a vehicle;
• Unlike other driver training programs, this course changes learned behaviour and habits using "Right-way: Wrong-way" technique principles;
• Ensure each and every individual learns this essential life skill;
• Our aim is to make each learner driver feel confident and safe on the roads before obtaining their license;
• Supplying each learner driver with the right knowledge and skills to keep our communities, family and friends safe on our roads.

As part of our commitment to improve the driver education of young novice drivers, Premier Driving Academy commenced high school-based driver education programs in South-East Queensland schools in 2011 (this initiative promotes our goals and safety views, whilst reducing the risks for young drivers that have limited experience).
