We are currently on an 825 mile drive to watch our son play in a college baseball tournament in Florida. While we are driving, I thought this would be a great topic to write about. We are now in our tenth hour of driving and have 145 miles to go. It has been a great trip so far and we are not stressed or exhausted. The fact that we are not stressed or exhausted has not always been the case.

Ever since our oldest son turned nine and started playing summer ball, we have been driving, driving, driving. When our youngest son started playing summer ball we even had more driving. We would drive all over the state in one day, jumping from tournament to tournament. I am sure many of you can identify with supporting your children in this manner, whether it be sports, band, dance, cheerleading, scholastic, church or extra-curricular activities.

When our youngest son was a freshman in high school he decided he was finished with baseball. After the season ended, we told him he could quit but that he had to find something else to do other than sit in front of a screen, whether it be TV, computer or video. To our surprise he decided to play the electric bass guitar and within a couple of years was in a band. The band was successful and he had several gigs an hour away from home and yes, here we go again. . . driving. . .driving. . .driving.

I am extremely grateful and truly blessed to have two talented children and to be able to travel and support them. We are also grateful to be able to have our own businesses which allow us to schedule our work around these events. It has always been delightful, but not always easy for us financially and physically. Just preparing for these trips takes a great amount of time and effort. We have to make sure all of our work and employees are scheduled, bills are paid, and prepare for what we are taking on the trip. In the past when we were preparing for the long trips, we sometimes felt a sense of dread, especially if they were more than six hours. Then we quickly come to our senses and realized that there is no other place we would rather be.

Last year I received a Q-Link pendant and have noticed many changes in my overall well-being, feeling less stress, greater focus and more energy. All of these are benefits of wearing my QLink pendant. The Q-Link helps to balance the biofields in our bodies, which can be affected by electromagnetic fields that we encounter virtually everywhere, everyday of our lives. What I have discovered is that with anything I do, when my biofield is balanced I experience more energy, less stress and better performance.

After wearing the Q-link pendants for awhile we realized that our trips came with peace and ease. There were many weekends when we drove 11 hours each way. We even made a 16 hour trip to Cape Cod twice without stopping for the night. I do not recommend this for anyone and am amazed that we were able to make those trips so easily. As we are nearing the end of our destination, I sit here writing and thinking how grateful I am for everything in my life at this moment and am feeling an overwhelming sense of well-being.
