The ratio is close to 60% for the Americans. Human system has a shell and will be badly hurt if you continuously take unhealthy food items. Good health is not always about eating healthy food items. It is also much dependent on your positive mental attitude, healthy lifestyle etc. This article will list out some of the important tips on how to lead a healthy life. Drink enough water: People are reluctant to drink enough water and they under estimate its importance. About 60% of the human body is made up of water. Water particles remove harmful particles from body and help in smooth blood flow. They carry enough oxygen to the body cells. It is important to replenish the body system with adequate amount of water as we might lose them through bowel movements, urine and breathing systems. It is advised to take 8 glasses of water or 2 liters of water for a healthy living. Get enough sleep: Human body would like to have more food when you do not take enough rest in the form of sleep. Humans tend to eat a lot of junk food items in this way. Getting enough sleep will eliminate the need of eating junk items. Lack of sleep will lead premature ageing. Yoga and meditation: The process of yoga and meditation helps you to control the body and mind. There are simple processes which can be learnt quickly and they will contribute a lot to live a healthy life. Exercise: Every human being wants to go to the gym to have a slim and fit body. However, most of them are reluctant to wake up early in the morning to go to gym. It is highly impossible to do the work outs after returning from the office. It is highly recommended to go for a 30 minutes of walk or jog which will help to burn out calories. Your body will stay away from the extra calories in this way. Use staircase and not the elevator to climb up the floors. Similarly use bicycles and not bikes to reach out to shorter distances. Have lot of fruits and fresh juices: Do not drink aerated drinks and opt for fresh fruit juices. You will find immense amount of vitamins and essential nutrients that will pave way for a healthy living. Fruits have fewer calories but can fill your tummy easily. They keep the body cells fresh and healthy. Bright colored food: If you are color sensitive, then you can choose bright colored food items. Fruits and vegetables that are bright in color are usually rich in anti-oxidants. These substances will remove the free radicals that might harm the body cells. Banana, pine apple, mango, guava, cucumber are some of the most important fruits and vegetables that you can intake. Avoid processed food: It is not recommended to take processed food items because the most nutritional values are lost and the added preservatives might lead to side effects. Most of the food items will have extra salt as a preservative which will lead to higher blood pressure. Love yourself: How many of you love yourself? Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10. The result will speak volumes about your behavior and thought process. Self love will help to improve the quality of life. It also inspires to treat other human beings in the same way. Right attitude: Think positive and stay positive! This kind of attitude will help to face problems with a light heart. Solutions can easily be obtained by approaching the problems in the right manner. A right kind of attitude will help you to avoid complicating the problems in life. Live like a king and have king like thoughts. Breathe deeply: It is important to watch out for some actions in your life that you carry out daily. You should breathe deeply which will utilize the lung capacity to its full extent. Athletic and sports trainers teach the technique of proper breathing which will help them to perform well. Full breathing will involve maximum lung and abdomen movements. Have small meals: It is recommended to have several small meals instead of big meals in a day. This will balance the energy distribution process and will not encourage you to snack junk food items. Brown and white carbs: White carbs and food items are rich in calories but are low in nutrients. They might cause unhealthy spikes in the sugar levels. However, brown carb food items will have good amount of nutrients and essential vitamins. A life with purpose: So, what is your aim or purpose in life? Happiness and a healthy lifestyle should start from within. Are you in line with your purpose of life? Have you ever tried to inspire others? Motivate yourself to live a life with purpose. It will help to improve the quality of life. If you are not focused on something, then all your actions in life are aimless and your energy cannot be streamlined. Life is a gift and it is only once you can live. Hence, do not try to bog down with complications. Most of the health issues that we face are unnecessarily invited by our own actions. Do not abuse your body with unwanted food items and habits. Your vital organs might be functioning well today but there is no guarantee that they might work well tomorrow. If wealth is lost, nothing is lost. But when health is lost, everything is lost. Have this in mind and start living a life that is worth your actions. Be a living legend with healthy lifestyle!
