Are you looking for a tool that can deduct the size of DVD and increase the storage capacity without hampering the quality? Try, DVDShrink Software. A DVDShrink Software is an application that allows a user to shrink the original DVD and make copies and backups. One good thing about the software is, it is easily available only and that’s also for free. The Software avoids encryption that ceases you from making copies of the original DVDs and also shrinks the original DVD to burn it to a standard DVD-R disk. The process don’t consume much time and fairly easy. In the article, we are sharing easy and comprehensive steps to rip a DVD with software-

  • First Check whether you have software that burns DVD on your computer system. The DDV burning allows you to burn DVDs and convert it into a recordable disk. Generally, computers with a DVD burner used to have DVDShrink software pre-installed, but if you don’t have, you will need it to shrink the size of the DVDs.
  • Browse through some websites and download the DVDshrink software online. The software is available freeware which, means you don’t have to pay a single penny for it.
  • Download and Install the software onto your computer system according to the instruction provided.
  • Now, Open the Software and change the configuration according to your preference and choices. First off, select the DVD drive that the DVD shrink will read to proceed further. The software will analyze the entire disc to determine the size and compression speed.
  • Find the size bar that runs along the bottom of the software. The Size bar will update you about how much of the DVD can fit on a standard DVD-R. If the bar displays red color instead of green, the disc needs to be compressed due to the large size of the file.
  • Before starting the shrinking process, decide whether you want to keep the entire DVD intact or want to shrink some specific part of the DVD. You can convert some part of film and the trailers as per your choice instead of the complete movie with the help of the software. Click on ‘Backup’ button.

Wait till the DVDShrink is copying or compressing the movie. Now, you have a high-quality copy of the original DVD that will possess the same original picture quality without taking much space in your hard disk.
