The ketogenic diet is one of the most popular diets out there. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a diet where you eat very high fat and low carbs. To learn more about the diet, click here. This is a diet that works great for many people. Do you see yourself having no problem eating loads of eggs, bacon, chicken wings, ribeye steak, etc.? Then this is the diet for you. You can load up on all the fats you want and have no concern. You will be amazed the way the weight falls off of you while on this diet. One thing you must do on this diet is give up sugary drinks. You can still have coffee, but you can’t have sugar in it. Load it up with all of the heavy whipping cream you want. If you are not familiar with heavy whipping cream, it’s time for that to change. This is going to be an essential for you while on keto. Some people opt for artificial sweeteners, still drinking diet soda or using Splenda or other other sweeteners in their coffee. This is something that varies from person to person. Some people are knocked out of ketosis with these sweeteners. Others it causes no issue and continue to lose weight. One thing that some find difficult about this job is that it can be hard to find a quick meal to grab when you are out on the road. Many of your basic gas station snacks are not an option when on the ketogenic diet. It’s important to plan ahead when taking a trip or if you are going to be busy all day. That said, there will always be times when someone gets stuck and needs a meal or a snack to hold them over until they can get home and prepare a meal. Many think that fast food is a no no when you are on keto. That is flat out wrong. While you don’t want to eat a ton of fast food while on keto, it is certainly an option.
