The role of the teacher or tutor or master was very important in training important princes and rulers in society. This was the time of feudal lordships and monarchy or oligarchy. Hence, the commoners were not part of this training. It was expected from the rulers to follow certain ethical guidelines toward the community. This was civic duty and this civic sense was part of every good rulers. Those who proved to be bad rulers were the ones devoid of civic sense. The eClassroom can be seen as a radical reinvention of such a tradition seen over the ages. This brings in the importance of education and training young ones with tools that are more familiar to the youth of today.

Lecture recording system is a radical technological invention that has revolutionized the way through which students can take notes in class. Not only is the student freed from writing tediously in his or her notebook but also can pay attention to the entire lecture and go back to it whenever he or she wants.With the Lectern, the teachers can now also have an advantage in terms of viewing the entire class, addressing the class with the help of the microphone and also referring to one’s own notes for the class.

There are various ways through which the eClassroom can now be improved:

* Develop a lesson plan- Do not always include text books in the syllabus. Teachers need to broaden this. Incorporate activities that include the technologies used in the eClassroom. This not only increases awareness amongst students but also teachers.

* Get involved in social causes- Make sure that students participate in those causes that are relevant to the country. Children need to know the importance of raising their voices according to the social cause. There needs to be structuring and organization when taking part. Students will understand the meaning of the responsibility. Technological advancement allows a more globalised approach to various issues.

* Teach through demonstration- It is not enough to just teach according to the text. One must also demonstrate. Setting up functions, recitals etc will help students understand the importance of the habits and also internalize them. For example, if the students are being taught about good social habits, it is not enough that the teacher only talks about them but also plan certain activities like little skits, assignments etc which are not only educational but also a lot of fun. The students can in turn record these in the lecture recording system.

* Founding a strong relationship- Teachers need to form a strong bond with the students. It is through this bond that the teachers will be able to give them the required guidance about civic moral duties. Students will follow the examples of a teacher who they are comfortable with.

* Providing the students with news- . Include news websites within the syllabus structure. Students in the eClassroom will be exposed to the different scenarios in the world and form a proper sense of duty of what is to be done and what is to be avoided.
