The family permit is valid for the 5 years’ period. If you are shifted to another state or city or address, then you need to report your changes to the authority. The permanent residency permit has undergone various changes now. According to latest rules and regulations, the EEA people who have been working their treaty rights in the United Kingdom will get the permanent residency status after finished living five successive years in the UK.rnIf you want to get the EEA family permit, then you must fulfill the conditions. • You should be the spouse or civil partner of an EEA or Swiss national, • You should be a dependent relative in the ascending line. That is, you should be a relative of parents or grandparents of an EEA or Swiss national or his or her spouse or civil partner. • You should be a descendant, that is child or grandchild of the EEA national or their spouse or civil partner under 21 years of age
