The weight that we gain makes us store fat in the body. This fat can be of two types namely visceral fat and subcutaneous fat. Subcutaneous fat is what is under our skin but visceral fat is what makes our central part of the body look fat. This fat is present around our internal organs and is also called intra abdominal fat. This is more difficult to lose as compared to subcutaneous fat. People with excess of this kind of fat are more prone to diabetes, heart problems and other health risks. The more of this fat you have, the more close you are to getting many diseases. To lose visceral fat fast, one needs to get the body back in shape through exercises and diet.
Although obesity can be genetic, it is often connected to over eating and the lifestyle. Lack of physical activities and eating of food high in fat content can easily give you a large stomach. Other reasons could be due to a pregnancy or some kind of medication. Men tend to have more abdominal fat than women due to the hormones present in the body. It is also possible that a person with a healthy body weight may also have excess abdominal fat. To lose visceral fat fast you need to exercise your body and combine it with a healthy diet. Loss of this abdominal fat makes one healthier and steers you away from many health risks.
The easiest way to switch from a sedentary lifestyle to a more active one is by going for brisk walks. Start walking for minimum of 20 minutes and then slowly increase it. The other options are cycling, rope jumping, jogging, running, swimming etc. There are plenty of options available to lose body weight if done regularly. Perform these work outs for four to five days a week at least. Choose a form of exercise you can regularly perform whether it is cardio, weights, yoga, aerobics or Pilates. Yoga has proven beneficial in reduction of weight too. The Sun Salutations done in yoga helps one tone the whole body and get rid of stomach fat. Another useful exercise is Pranayam or Deep breathing in yoga. Do this with the help and guidance of a guru.
Even if you lead an active life but do not follow a healthy diet, you are bound to have excess visceral fat around your mid section. Proper diet plays a major role to keep the body fit and toned. Eliminate the food which only helps in increasing the weight and provides no nutrient to the body. Cut off the junk food, oily food, aerated drinks, fried stuff and refined food. These are all high in calorie therefore eliminating these will help you lose visceral fat. Include salads, vegetables, fruits and plenty of water in your every day diet. Water is required in sufficient quantity to flush out the toxins in the body.
To lose visceral fat fast follow these suggestions and stay dedicated. Simple changes in one's food intake and lifestyle can prove to be very effective in leading a healthy life.
